Immense diversity within one country

India

A country full of diverse experiences and sights, India is one of our most popular destinations. Landing into India is a bombardment for the senses.

From manically busy cities where you can see the extremes of wealth and poverty, to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Indian Ocean, India is one of the most diverse countries both geographically and culturally. The best time to visit India is from November to March as monsoons persist from May until September, with the highest levels of rainfall in the south.

Due to the craziness of the infrastructure and long distances between particularly regions of interest, we encourage our clients to partake in a tour of the country. This take the pressure off trying to deal with the sub-par transport links and trying to organise accommodation and instead allows you to focus on the country itself.

We highly recommend visiting the glorious Taj Mahal in Agra. Built in the 17th century, this is India’s best known landmark. Agra is beautiful, and other cities we love are Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur – the unique ‘Pink City’. In each of these bustling hives, the locals are warm and welcoming and having an insight into how a billion people live is very humbling.

When it comes to nature and natural landmarks. The north of the country contains part of the Himalaya, and is also where you can track tigers in their natural habitat. Cruising the Kerala backwaters on a traditional houseboat watching the riverside wildlife is peace personified, and Goa is the place to go for the best beaches.

With so much to do within this enormous, diverse country it’s worth speaking with us to voice what you want to get out of a visit to India. Let us do the rest.
