Spend a long weekend in Southern Spain

Day 1

Your Malaga city break starts at Bristol Airport departing at 06.05 with Easyjet. We have arranged the Fast Track facility through immigration and security plus a lounge pass to help make this early start more comfortable. Relaxing in the lounge takes a great deal of stress out of the overall journey experience, plus you can have a cup of coffee on us!

You will arrive into Malaga at 09.45 local time which adds extra valuable time to your visit, from where you will be transferred to the hotel in a private car. You will spend the next three nights at the 4* Malaga Centro Hotel which is within walking distance of the city and the harbour and promenade. We have requested an early check in so you can either settle in or head straight out.

As you are only a short stroll from the city, it’s easy to explore and find an al-fresco lunch spot and soak in the relaxed atmosphere. In the evening, we recommend heading to one of the many restaurants in the city area – definitely try one of the many Tapas establishments. The El Meson Cervantes is particularly good, but make sure you book early as it’s very popular (let us know if you’d like us to do this for you).

Day 2

Today you will take a full day private tour of Malaga exploring this beautiful city. Learn about the city’s long and multi-layered history with visits to a Roman Theatre, the famous Alcazaba Moorish citadel and the Renaisance style Malaga Cathedral. Stop at the most famous Malaga citizen, Pablo Picasso and many other iconic sights, also enjoy a guided tour through the winding streets and again taste the local cuisines.

Day 3

Today we have arranged visit to Ronda for a private full-day guided tour with your own experienced guide. He will collect you from the hotel and take you on the spectacular drive through the rugged landscape scattered with vineyards and olive groves.

You’ll take a guided walk through the town and enjoy incredible views of the gorge followed by the Mondragon Palace dating back to the 15th century. There will be plenty of time to wander around the shops and have a local lunch at leisure.

On the return journey, you head towards the town of Sentenil de las Bodegas where there will be a short walk with the guide before heading back to Malaga. This evening is the last chance to wander through the streets of Malaga taking the sights and enjoying the bars and restaurants.

Day 4

A transfer will be arranged from the hotel to Malaga Airport to check in for the Easyjet flight to Bristol departing at 10.20 arriving Bristol 12.05.
