Your holiday of a lifetime starts with a private airport transfer which will take you from Bristol to London Heathrow in plenty of time to check in for your Singapore Airlines flight to New Zealand via Singapore.

Day 1

Welcome to New Zealand! On arrival you will be met by a representative and transferred to your downtown city hotel. You will spend two nights at the Stamford Plaza Auckland with plenty of free time to explore the city.

Day 2

After a leisurely start to the day, you will take a brief ferry ride to Waiheke Island, a haven for vineyards, olive groves, art galleries and sandy beaches. Enjoy a special lunch at the beautiful Mudbrick Winery with its spectacular views over the Hauraki Gulf looking back to the city skyline. Later this afternoon, there is the opportunity to visit the historic and trendy seaside village of Devonport.

Day 3

Travel south to Matamata, home to the famous Hobbiton Movie Set. Situated on private farmland, you’ll be treated to a fun and interesting guided tour before continuing on to the geothermal city of Rotorua. You will spend two nights at the Millennium Hotel Rotorua.

Day 4

Today’s highlight is an exclusive cruise across the serene, clear waters of Lake Rotoiti. You'll explore native bays and coves of the lake under sail on a luxury catamaran and bathe in the thermal waters of the Manupirua Pools. This evening, you will visit Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve.

Day 5

You will head to top to the popular lakeside resort of Taupo today before continuing to Napier, where you will enjoy an achitecture walk arouond the town in the afternoon.

Day 6

Often referred to as the ‘Tuscany of the South Pacific’, this region boasts some of New Zealand’s best and oldest wineries. Today is at your leisure, so you can simply relax and soak in the beautifuil surroundings (with a glass of wine or two!) or perhaps visit Craggy Range Winery.

Day 7

This morning you will travel through the North Island's rural heartland en route to Wellington, the capital city, where you can do a short tour of the city before settling into your hotel - the Bolton Hotel, where you will stay for two nights on a full board basis.

Day 8

Recently named the ‘coolest little capital in the world’ by Lonely Planet, Wellington is nestled between a sparkling harbour and rolling green hills and is renowned for its arts, heritage, culture and native beauty. Today it's your to explore as you wish!

Day 9

This morning you shall cruise across the Cook Strait to the picturesque fishing village of Picton. For those who wish, an optional floatplane transfer & scenic flight to the lodge is available from Picton. On arrival, you will settle in for two night at Raetihi Lodge.

Day 10

Today is free to explore Marlborough Sounds. You lodge hosts will share their love of the region with you and you'll have the opportunity to go on a wide range of water and nature based experiences such as kayaking and mountain biking. Alternatively, just head off with a couple of maps and explore yourselves!

Day 11

You'll return to Havelock by water taxi and be transferred by road to the small coastal town of Kaikoura. Here you can enjoy whale-watching adventures, swim with the dolphins or join local Maori for a unique, award winning cultural experience.

Day 12

Today you travel south across the Canterbury Plains and stop at beautiful Lake Tekapo for lunc before heading to Mt Cook National Park, a World Heritage listed site. The park covers over 70,000 hectares of breathtaking alpine scenery. You'll stay in the region for two nights at the Mount Cook Hermitage Hotel.

Day 13

Today an experienced guide will whisk you away in a stable MAC Boat to explore the melting ice-face of the Tasman Glacier. Get up close to touch 400-year old icebergs that have been carved into the murky waters of the lake. Later, there is time to enjoy one of the many bush walks and optional ski-plane and helicopter flights (weather permitting, of course!).

Day 14

You'll pass through MacKenzie Country en route to alpine village of Queenstown, regarded as New Zealand’s premier holiday destination. You'll have four days to take in the adventure, landscapes and superb eateries in Queenstown as you stay the Doubletree by Hilton.

Day 16

Your highlight today is a leisurely nature cruise of the breathtaking Milford Sound, cruising the full length of the fjord to the Tasman Sea. An on-board nature guide will give you detailed information of the region’s history, flora & fauna and you will view spectacular waterfalls, rainforests and towering mountains, including the awesome Mitre Peak. Wildlife includes dolphins, seals, penguins & albatross when in season.

Day 17

Enjoy a free day to experience this magnificent resort town. Surrounded by majestic mountains, Queenstown boasts an incredible array of adventure & leisure activities in all forms, from extreme New Zealand Premium Tour created just for you. to relaxed exploration. Your coach captain will be happy to advise you on all the activities and options available.

Day 18

You'll continue to the Fox & Franz Josef Glaciers today where it's possible to take a scenic flight over the mountains to see the true scale of these ice sheets. You'll spend one night at the Hotel Franz Josef giving you two opportunity to fly, should the weather not coopoerate!

Day 19

Heaing further north, this afternoon you will board the TranzAlpine train for a coast to coast rail adventure across the Southern Alps to Christchurch, where you will transfer to the Rydes Latmier for a farewell dinner.

Day 20

You will be transferred to Christchurch airport in plenty of time check in for your Singapore Airways flight, via Singapore, to London Heathrow. You wiill arrive the following morning. We have arranged for you to be met on arrival and driven home to Bristol.
