Australasia

Cities, beaches, mountains, lakes, deserts, wildlife, sports, reefs, food and wine....Australasia has it all. These two countries are often considered close neighbours but in reality are separated by 1500 miles and a 4 hour flight. Nevertheless, the two are ideal for a multi-stop trip but can also offer very different experiences.

Due to its popularity, we've created an Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific brochure. Within the pages you'll find travel logistics, destination advice, hotel guides for each country and much more.

We'd highly recommend you take a browse during your planning phase!

Australia

The great thing about Australia is there is always a good time to go. You can experience good weather most times of the year as one of the driest continents in the world.

Generally speaking the seasons are reversed to those in the Northern hemisphere. Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart and Sydney in the south are best from November to March and Brisbane, Broome, Darwin and Cairns in the north are best from May to October.

No trip is complete without time in any one of the exciting, vibrant cities such as Sydney, Melbourne or Perth. Climb the Sydney harbour bridge, visit Philip Island from Melbourne to see the penguins, visit the Swan Valley wine region near Perth as a few ideas.

Head north to Cairns or Port Douglas and get out to the Barrier reef or inland to the Atherton tablelands and the rainforest. What about top end and the red centre for the exciting rugged northern territory and central Australia for Ayers Rock

This Best of Australia itinerary will show you the best of the country.

New Zealand

There are 4 seasons, reveresed to those in the Northern Hemisphere, which are felt differently across both the north and south islands.  The Spring months can be quite wet but apart from then, New Zealand has much to offer as both a summer and winter destination.

This itinerary encompasses the best of both the North and South Island.

New Zealand is possibly the best country in the world for those who love the outdors. Hiking, climbing, skiing, adventure sports, sailing and kayaking are a way of life. Wine is also a big draw with many world class vineyards.

The cities and towns offer a multitude of experiences. Hot springs in Rotorua; cosmopolitan living in Auckland and Wellington; the student city of Dunedin; whale and dolphin watching in Kaikora; adventure sports in Queenstown; Art deco architecture in Taupo to give you some ideas.
