Andre and Nic survey P&O's refurbished Oriana

The Oriana was launched in 1994, and refurbished at the end of last year, 2016. It's an adults-only ship with a capacity of 1,880 guests and 760 crew.

The nine passenger decks are home to a good mix of Inside, Outside, Deluxe Outside, Mini Suites and Suites - there really is something for everyone.

The Oriana is regarded as a very traditional ship with a very loyal following. Indeed, it's the most popular ship for repeat bookings. This must be, in part, down to the range of formal and informal dining options, including the Atul Kochars Sindhu restaurant as well as four bars including the Crows Nest and the Lord's Tavern.

Activities onboard include the beautiful renovated Oasis Spa, a Salon, three swimming pools, a gym with range of fitness classes, a sports court, golf nets, tennis, a library, a cinema and a 650 seat theatre!

In summary, the Oriana is a mid-sized ship with plenty of space to roam and enjoy freedom, particularly for those who want a more intimate experience and traditional feel.
