#1: Exploring the Western Ghatsjo2.pngThe Western Ghats are one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots. Explore shola forests and plantations of tea, coffee and fragrant spices that support five thousand species of flowering plants including many unique orchids, and several species of birds, butterflies and reptiles. Take a safari in wildlife sanctuaries to chance upon herds of wild buffalo, tigers and leopards as well as wild elephant and enjoy an unmissable train ride on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway.
